Baked Vidalia Onion Dip

2 cups shredded Swiss cheese (8oz.)
2 cups chopped Vidalia onion (or any sweet onion)
2 cups Hellmann's Mayonnaise (only Hellmann's)
2 Tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
 
1.  Combine Swiss cheese, onions and mayo, stirring well.
 
2.  Spoon mixture into a lightly greased deep 1 quart baking dish, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
 
3.  Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes, just till bubbly and crust has formed around the edge of dish.
 
4.  Serve with bagel chips or crackers.
 
If you want to double this, it would be:
3 cups Swiss cheese
3 cups onion
2 1/2 cups of mayo.
